Take Charge Pride Hosts Winter Basketball League

TAKE CHARGE PRIDE BASKETBALL organization is partnering this winter with the MAIN EVENT YOUTH (MEY) organization in the first-ever, annual 2018 Winter Basketball League.  This is the first partnership between the two organizations that prides itself with its involvement in the lives of children- academically, socially, and athletically. 
Welcoming competitive teams across the DMV, registration for the winter league officially has begun and will end on December 22, 2017.  With an eight-game minimum guarantee, the top two teams in their respective divisions, ages 8-14 years old, will compete for the championship of their age division. 
This league includes individual statistics for each game, championship trophies, and games in one of the most accessible basketball venues in the Area.  All games are held at the Bowie City Gym at 4100 Northview Drive in Bowie, Maryland, every Sunday beginning on January 7, 2018- March 11, 2018.
